What is ChatBot?
ChatBot is a natural language understanding framework that provides business management services to create AI-powered chatbots. ChatBot scans your website to provide quick and accurate AI-driven answers to customer questions.
When we set up your ChatBot, we provide the bot with your website URL, which will be used to initially train your bot. The bot will scrape your website content in order to try to provide answers to commonly asked questions by your website users. From there, we go ahead and set up a basic bot flow to take users through various prompts to try to get them the answer that they need. We then test it to ensure that it is working as expected before installing it on your website.
Who is it for?
ChatBot is perfect for property managers who want a more hands-off experience with being able to quickly handle commonly questions asked by your website users. It integrates into the LiveChat platform that we provide in order to help assist in answering questions when you are not only offline but are looking to spend less time answering LiveChat inquiries. If the bot does not have an answer to the question or the user requests to speak to a live agent, if you or a member of your team is logged into the platform, the bot will automatically transfer them to the live agent. However, if you are not logged in, the bot will take them to submit an internal form where the user has the option to submit their information. You will then be notified so you can reach back out to them at a later time.
How to I continue to train my bot?
Once we do the initial set up of the bot and overall conversation flow and grant you access to your account, you will then be able to log in to
chatbot.com in order to continue training your bot.
The bot is only as smart as you make it, so any questions that are unable to be answered based on your website content will require some guidance by you. There is an interface to continue building out the
AI Training Module where you will be able to provide answers to your website users using exact phrases or words that you may want to trigger a specific bot response. You will find this module in the top left area of your screen (see screenshot below).
The AI Training section collects all messages from your customers along with the answers provided by the bot. You can find there the General and custom categories and sections added by default:

The "Unmatched" section in the ChatBot platform is where you will find all the user messages your ChatBot couldn’t answer. This will lay out all of the phrases the ChatBot was unable to identify so you are able to go in and either create a new path you would like the bot to present to your site users OR you can send users with a similar inquiry to an existing answer that has already been set up on the platform!
How do I log in?
To log into ChatBot, you will go to
chatbot.com. You will use the same credentials to log in that you use when logging in to your
LiveChat platform. You will manage all chats from within the LiveChat platform, however, you will log into chatbot.com in order to update or train your bot.
How many users can I have logged in at once?
The LiveChat/ChatBot platform only allows 1 user per seat logged in at any given time. If you did want to add an additional seat on the platform, just let us know and we can incorporate another seat on your account for an additional monthly fee.
